Why Harvard Medicine is calling NAD IV Therapy the “Crown Jewel of Detox”

Updated: Jun 10, 2021

Over the past years, NAD IV Therapy has been getting a lot of attention lately as the preferred choice to stop substance addiction due to not only it’s effectiveness, but also it’s “all-natural and holistic approach”.

According to Emerald Neuro-Recover Centers, Harvard Medicine states that NAD IV Therapy is proven to have an 87% success rate and is considered the crown jewel of detox because of it’s rapid cleanse and restoration therapies, and it radically repairs cell damage in the brain and body.” In addition, Amora Scott, Vice President of Emeralds says “The ancient way of treating addiction was to substitute one drug for another, which is only a quick fix. With NAD we can repair the brain and lose the cravings and anxiety of the addiction.”

What is NAD Therapy?

Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD) is a metabolic co-enzyme and is charged with the important job of structuring, repairing, and remodeling every cell in the body. These specialized enzymes require constant replenishment in the body. Unfortunately, drug and alcohol abuse prompt the human brain to reorganize, particularly on a cellular level. This process, known as neuroadaptation, is directly responsible for addiction-related brain damage and depletion of neurotransmitters. NAD IV therapy is said to replenish the drained enzymes and target brain restoration.

How does the NAD Treatment work?

NAD IV therapy usually requires one infusion per day for a period of ten days. A facility physician develops an individualized treatment plan for each patient, including the precise NAD mixture. At the beginning of each day, a trained nurse will insert an IV and begin to slowly infuse the NAD mixture. Withdrawal symptoms reportedly begin to subside in just a matter of minutes.

It has been quoted by many physicians that even though NAD IV therapy still requires additional research and evaluation, the treatment itself does produce positive results among patients struggling with addiction. Furthermore, There is clinical evidence of brain tissue and behavioral positive changes during treatment of anti-aging, addictions and craving when utilizing NAD and Amino Acids.

BrainSpark Health Patient Testimonial

The biggest improvement, though, is to my mood and energy. I never felt this good when I was on such high doses of antidepressants and other meds, which is in itself pretty shocking. In addition, I can’t say good enough things about the staff. Everyone was so friendly and supportive. Most days, I was provided with reiki, which helped me sleep, as well as massage, acupuncture, and counseling. The treatment was very relaxed; all rooms were private, and I could watch ele, read, and/or go online during the time I was receiving treatment. Additionally, I was provided with lunch every day that I was up to eating, either from WholeFoods across the street, or one of the many restaurants on Grubhub. In sum, I highly encourage anyone who thinks NAD/amino acid therapy would be helpful, to give Brainspark a call. You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.”
